Narrative

Mélanie Kimble may be François-Xavier's 2nd wife: The 1881 census shows a 33-year-old François Xavier Auger married to 40-year-old Marguerite Auger with several children. (Terrebonne district, code 94, St-Jérome, code 'J', household 114.) The same census also notes a 50-year old man living in the household named "Jean Bte Auger" (Jean-Baptiste?).

I am uncertain at this time [2007-1-29] if François Xavier Auger from the 1881 census is the same as this François Xavier Auger married to Mélanie Kimble. To confuse things further, also see the entry on Mélanie Kimble to see the many variations on her name.
